The 'Day of Action' is an opportunity for students, staff and the wider community to get together to work towards achieving some of the targets set out in your action plan. In some cases it may be carried out in conjunction with local or national projects (e.g. National Spring Clean, Tidy Towns, Energy Awareness Week, Clean Coast, Tree Week, etc.)
Benefits of the 'Day of Action' include:
Involving the wider community. Parents, neighbours, local business, and the Local Authority can all be drawn in. They can give advice and practical help. The 'Day of Action' is also a great opportunity to raise publicity for the whole school.
