Green-Schools Expo 2016

We are proud to announce the launch of the first Green-Schools EXPO, taking place on Thursday, February 25th 2016 in the Industries Hall of the RDS.

What is it?

The EXPO is an opportunity to showcase, celebrate and learn about the work of the
Green-Schools Programme. Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE event. 

The action-packed EXPO will include interactive exhibits, engaging displays, fun-filled
activities, workshops and guest speakers to suit all ages and interests. 

What's happening?

The Green-Schools Expo will feature 23 exhibiting schools spread over the six Green-Schools themes. We will also have an Eco Talks area and two large workshop zones with hands-on workshops taking place throughout each timeslot. See below for a list of workshop providers, speakers and a list of our amazing exhibiting schools and the zones you'll find them in!

In order to allow as many people as possible to attend this free event, the day has been broken down into four timeslots. 

  • Group B: 9.30am - 11.15am
  • Group C: 11.30am - 1.30pm
  • Group D: 1.45pm - 3.30pm
  • Group E: 3.35pm - 5pm

  • Final keynote address: Evelyn Cusack, RTÉ weather presenter, Deputy Head of Forecasting at Met Éireann and Secretary of the Irish Meteorological Society.
