Limerick City Council are holding their third Annual Bike Parade through Limerick City on 24th June 2012 as part of National Bike Week. This is a major event in the city where hundreds of cyclists meet at King Johns Castle at 12pm and cycle through Limerick city to the Peoples park for a family fun day and picnic. Green-Schools has been involved in this since the start and this year to mark the move of three major Limerick city schools onto Green-Schoos Travel we are going to try and cycle together as a Green-Schools Team. Green-Schools Travel is going from strength to strength in the city where over 1000 pupils in the city walked on National WOW day! Let’s see what Limerick can do for National Bike Week.
