1. How do I register for the Green-Schools Programme?
You can register for the Green-Schools Programme online using this Registration Form.

2. How do I check if my school is already registered?
If you wish to check if your school is already registered with the Green-Schools Programme, please email us at greenschools@antaisce.org or call us on 01-400 2202

3. What type of schools can take part?
The Green-Schools Programme is currently open to all Primary, Secondary and Special Schools in the Republic of Ireland as well as Pre-Schools and Adult Education Centres.

4. Can 3rd level institutions take part in the Green-Schools Programme?
A separate programme for 3rd Level Institutions has been developed called Green-Campus. If you are a 3rd level institution, please contact Yvonne Ryan, Green-Campus Manager on yryan@eeu.antaisce.org

5. How much does the Programme cost?
Registration and materials are free to all schools taking part.

6. Our contact details have changed what should we do?
Please email us with your new details or call us on 01-400 2202.

7. How do I apply for the Green Flag Award?

8. How often do I renew the Green Flag Award?
You must renew your Green Flag Award every 2 years. Find out more here.

11. Where can I find out more information on a Green-Schools Theme?
Whatever theme you are working on, we have lots of resources for your school to use! You should have received Green-Schools resources relevant to the theme you are working on. If not please email us to request another one. We also have a Resources Section on our website as well as a Useful Links Section and a Case Studies Section.

12. Who can I talk to for some guidance on the Green-Schools Programme?
If you have not been assigned a Green-Schools Officer from your area you can contact the Green-Schools team by email or on 01 -400 2202. You can also contact your local Environmental Awareness Officer.

13. What is the size of the Green Flag?
The Green Flag measures 225cm(w) by 150 cm(h).

14. Can I order a replacement Green Flag?
Yes, replacement flags are available at a cost of 25 Euro. This covers the cost of the manufacturing of the flag and the cost of shipping and postage. If you wish to order a replacement Green Flag, you can make out a cheque for 25 Euros to “Green-Schools” and post it up to our Dublin Office.

15. How can I keep up-to-date with news about the Green-Schools Programme?
There are lots of ways to do this! You can check out our News Blog, sign-up to our Newsletter and keep checking our website. We are also on Twitter and Flickr! If you have a story you would like us to publish, please email us.

16. Can I use the Green-Schools logo on my website/flyer/signage/pamphlet etc
Please email or call us to let us know what you wish the logo for.

17. Where can I sign up to your Ezine?
You can sign up to receive our Ezine on the homepage. 

18. Where can I find case studies of other schools taking part in the Green-Schools Programme?
The Green-Schools website has an extensive Case Studies Section, full of information from schools working on the Programme. Here you will find case studies from all types of schools and relevant to each of the themes. If you would like your school to feature as a case study please get in touch!

19. Can my organisation be featured in the Useful Links section of the Green-Schools Ireland website?
Unfortunately Green-Schools Ireland cannot promote any one product over another, however if your organisation provides free environmental educational resources to schools, please contact us.

20. Can I send you in an article for your News Blog?
Absolutely! Please email us your story!

21. We have lost our Handbook, where can we get another copy?
You can request another Handbook by email or by calling us on 01-400 2202.

22. How can our school take part in National Spring Clean?
