2 imageThe Green-Schools Programme (known internationally as Eco-Schools) was developed by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), this organisation holds the primary copyright and intellectual property rights to all programme materials: criteria, workbooks, forms etc.

The Environmental Education Unit at An Taisce is the National Operator in Ireland for all international environmental education programmes of FEE.
The criteria and other scheme materials are solely for the use of eligible education facilities participating in the Green-Schools Programme.
Copying or use of the criteria or other programme material for any other purpose will be subject to approval by the Foundation for Environmental Education.
An Taisce, along with our Local Authority partners, are the only authorised advisors and assessors for the Green-Schools Programme. An Taisce is the awarding body for the Green Flag in Ireland.

All registrations for the programme and applications for the Green Flag must be made by the Green-Schools Coordinator directly to An Taisce.
