The following section of the website has become it's most important part with time. It outlines how schools of all types and sizes are operating their Green-Schools programme. The idea of providing case studies is to give you some ideas on how you can improve your own Green-Schools programme. This section will be updated very regularly so you should bookmark it and return as often as you can. We hope you find the information given to be useful.
The Case Studies Section is divided into a number of categories. These categories are primarily based on the themes of the Green-Schools programme (i.e. litter & waste, energy, water, travel). In each catergory the case study gives information how the school worked through the seven steps for the theme. There are also a number of different school types in each category (e.g primary, secondary, special, rural, urban etc.). While they not specific themes, a section on Composting and Recycling have been added in, as many schools have much experties in these areas to share.
